Founded in 1989, Suit City came from humble beginnings. The idea originated as a dream shared by four brothers from Flushing Queens. As a team, they settled into the city of Orlando and felt a deep sense of inspiration. These four men, not far removed from their Big Apple roots, decided to take a leap of faith. In coordination, the brothers opened a store selling different forms of menswear. As time passed, the store gained recognition in the Orlando community. The brothers quickly realized that it was time to capitalize on the hard work that built their sparkling reputation. Branching out from under the same roof, these two stores took their roots in the heart of the city. From a joint venture featuring two distinct clothing styles, the brothers decided that it would be best to separate the formalwear and streetwear inventories into their own storefronts; two brothers took urban wear, two took formal wear. This is the foundation for the modern day, as these two stores found a strong foothold in the city. Today, these stores are called Men’s Closet and Suit City.

While we have grown so much internally, we also must pay homage to the city that brought us here The City Beautiful. Orlando has expanded its business prowess, so we had to expand our storefront. From the 1,000 square foot strip-mall rental, we gradually grew into a 9,000 square foot warehouse.

To stay ahead of the competition, we’ve kept a simple mission in mind. We want to be the greatest professional men’s clothier in town. To do so, we stock cutting edge fashion at extremely competitive prices, all while keeping a top-notch service.
